      Lucid Dream & O.B.E. noob

      Hello guys, I'm new here.

I've had one accidental DILD once, a few months back. But it was really hazy. Like remember that it felt real when I'm in the dream, but suddenly becomes blurry when I try to recall it in the morning. Is this normal?

I had the impression that lucid dreams are as real as reality, and that you can recall most of the stuff like it was a memory.

I also had one accidental O.B.E. and sleep paralysis awakening. It was really scary. Saw a floating black skull, like the dementer in Harry Potter, dragging me through the floor while I was awake.

I researched and found the Lucidology 101 thing. Tried their techniques and it doesn't seem to work. I also can't recall dreams very well. I've tried the suggestions on this forum, but it's not working.

I have occasional vivid dreams where I can remember 90% of the dream or no dreams at all. I even had ones where I woke up, got some milk, lay back down and continue the dream I had.

Tips and advice? Also, what are your lucid dreams like? How real are they?

That is very normal, yes. And they can indeed be real as reality, or even more(Im not kidding!).
I cannot say anything about Sleep Paralysis, since i havent had one, but i guess its just to get over it. Some people even learn how to turn them around into a WILD!
When it comes to recall, that is very good for someone new. A Journal is the most important, keep on it! You'll start to see results soon!
My LDs are not very real unless i take a nap. The night dreams become really messed up and i cant think clearly, since i sleep so deply. But since i think naps are the way to go, thats what im aiming for

      Cheers,
