Hi Lucid Dreaming noob here... (help would be appreciated)

      Hello

I found you guys by searching Google for Lucid Dreaming Techniques. I still have not had a lucid dream. (Also, I think I DID Have one, I was controlling it, but i wasn't fully aware.)

I've tried a lot of techniques, but none of them worked. I also need some help, do binaural beats or whatever work/help? if so, which ones would you recommend? Its all so confusing. Which technique would be best for beginners? Is there other techniques that are best to use? if so, can someone link me to a guide? Is there a recommended age for lucid dreaming? (I'm 14) So many questions! sorry if i bore you/frustrate you. :3

I hope to become very active in this community! Once I get more experienced, of course. For the looks of it, this community seems very mature. (: thats always good.

if anyone can answer my questions and help me out with my first lucid dream, Id be happy.

You can always begin to look here: http://www.dreamviews.com/f20/beginn...eaming-116237/
There'll you also find explanations for the abreviations. Try to work your way through this thread.

As for the techniques, try to go with DILD or MILD at first, do reality checks throughout the days, and try to think about lucid dreaming.
Then when you had your first lucids, try to start with DEILD or WILD.
As for binaural beats/isochronic tones, giving them a try won't hurt. There's no guarantee of success but some people have pretty good success with them.
Personal Records so far: Max lucids per day: 2 | Max lucids per week: 4 | Max lucids per month: 8 | Max dreams recalled in one night: 17
      Longest lucid dream: ~35min | Highest flight: zoomed out of common existence [WTF?] | Fastest speed: FTL | DILD/EILD/DEILD [X] | WILD/VILD [X] | MILD/FILD/HILD [ ]
Interested to know how I got 17 dreams in one single night? And how I think I still could Improve? Check out my new and improved Dream Recall Compendium: The Dream Recall Compendium

Hey dude we're like the same. Both 14 and have had like 1 or 2 not fully aware LDs. But i'm trying to start with MILD and DILD first and i'll report back if I ever get one.

I recommend you try MILD, that is generally best for beginners. Did you read Puffins guide?

The Binaural Beatwave techniques usually involve a complex mask/headphones to simulate noises during your REM phase which would remind you your sleeping. Other than that I really don't have much knowledge on binaural Beats....
I would recommend starting off with telling yourself "I will remember my dream" before you go to bed and write it down when you wake up, when u can remember 2-3 dreams or 1-2 Crystal clear detailed dreams then simply tell yourself "I will Lucid dream and remember it." Or you can go about reality checks whenever something strange occurs in daylight like a pinch or looking at a clock.

      Goodluck!
