      Back Again, Need Help :)

I really want to give lucid dreaming another try but my main problem is that i dont have a digital watch and mine cant beep every hour as a trigger for training realitychecks. So give me a good alternative way to tackle lucid dreaming.

Read the tutorials section. There are plenty of proven methods that don't rely on reality checks.

My personal preference is a combination of MILD and WBTB.

Say, do you have a birthday coming up soon? Perhaps someone will buy you one for your birthday or for christmas!

But until then, TygrHawk gave you some great advice!

Do you carry another device like a Palm Pilot or something that you could set to beep? Perhaps a nice Windows CE type device for Christmas, yeah, I need one of those

Hiya Lazy! Hey, don't worry -- there are plenty of reality checks that can be done without the aid of technology, also, such as sticking a finger through your palm and pinching your nose shut and trying to breathe through it still. These have been used by some of the more avid dreamers here, and have been proven to work well.

As Tygr said, do check out the Tutorials section in any case. You will find pretty much everything you need right there.

      Good luck!

I remember Seeker once told me when I first joined the site. Instead of using something like a watch that beeps to set off you doing a reality check...try doing one like everytime you walk through a doorway or something along those lines.

My first few days here I wrote the letter "L" on my left hand and the letter "D" on my right hand and everytime throughout the day when I noticed one or the other I would just stop for a minute (I tend not to do conventional reality checks) and look around and think about how I got to where I was and try to do some form of reality check. I had lucids right away.

I don't think you need to rely on something like a watch that beeps every half hour....try using everyday things within your own environment. And Good Luck!

I tried a MILD last night to recall my dream and wake up after it and write it down and i rememberd 1 dream, that was around 8.45 i waked up after that, i started my computer to write here but then i tried to remember a new one, but the computer was noisy so i couldnt focus, but im still pleased .
I think its a good star and i RC everytime i walk through a door and i will hope for the best

That's one way using a alarm on your watch. Or walking through a door.
I just do one every time I remember now and then.

I have this certain state of mind when I remember to do a reality check I do it in my mind and it seems to work just as well. Whenever I am in a dream to become lucid I never have to do a reality check. Because that state of mind kicks in. I just suddenly know. Sometimes I still do reading checks and other ones. I can tell what the dream atmosphere is like without these checks, it's way different to real life. Everyone has there own dream atmosphere.
