      Yo I'm Mac

And I'm new. Anyone know which introductory threads I should read into before I get started practicing some of the techniques here? Any advice at all. And if not, regardless, I look forward to frequenting this site. It looks awesome. : )

How's it going, Mac? Welcome to Dream Views.

Yes. This site is very, very awesome.

There are plenty of good threads to read up on, which will give you advice on attaining lucidity through different methods. You might have to browse a bit and find what works best for you. A good place to start is Here: (DV Tutorials section). I would personally recommend the DILD and WBTB methods, which are the easiest for me, though some people have much better luck with some of the other methods, so it's better to at least look through them all. Also check the sections on things like Dream Signs and Recall.

I would also definitely recommend starting up a Dream Journal. Not only is it going to help you realize recurring themes and concepts from your dreams, which may help you to become lucid, more often, but it also helps keeps you more inspired to actually remember your dreams, in the first place.

If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask myself or another staff member (or start a thread on something, but be sure to use the Search Option, first!), and we'll be glad to help out, however possible.

      Enjoy your stay!

Ey li'l Mac, welcome to DV! I'm sure you'll have a fun time here. Anyway, there's http://www.dreamviews.com/f20/beginn...eaming-124786/. It pretty much contains all of the basic info a rookie should know. I suggest you get yourself a dream journal, it'll improve your dream recall(which is one of the basic foundations in lucid dreaming). Also, be prepared for a journey of a lifetime, Lucid Dreaming WILL change how you view sleeping and dreaming

      Welcome to DV
Just read up on the wiki, different tutorials, etc. Like weakamon said, a dream journal, do reality checks, etc.
Just be confident! that is key! Keep on trying even if you're in a weak spot. You can do it
If you have any questions feel free to ask

      and I am in them
      and that is eternity.
