      Thumbs up Hello everybody.

I just thought I'd introduce myself and everything. I'm very experienced in attempting to Lucid Dream, not so experienced in Lucid Dreaming. I've probably had a total of around 10, each and every time having the classic false awakening, except the very first time, in which I never really grew very lucid and it faded back into a dream. However I've never really been that serious about it, until recently.

I'm basically here to learn from other students and masters alike, and to hopefully offer guidance to beginners someday.

I'm new myself, made an account yesterday. I'm pretty new to lucid dreaming myself, I had a few before and recently got serious as well! I, however, have been lurking around these forums for quite some time before actually deciding to become part of it. Anywho, <-- I learned that trick yesterday

Welcome to the forum guys and congrats on your lucids!

JemIsExcitement: Whenever you wake up from a LD you should preform a reality check, something you do to test whether or not you are dreaming, to check for false awakenings. I've missed a few before because of this and one of them I never remembered. I would also advise that you start a dream journal to build up your recall. What good is a LD if you can't remember it?

Semisubzero: I would also advise you to begin a dream journal, if you haven't already. Dream recall is an important part of lucid dreaming and can improve your memory in general.

If either of you have any quesitons feel free to ask. People here are very friendly and will gladly help anyone they can. Good luck and happy dreaming!

I just started recently too. I've had the account for a few months but I've been trying to get serious with LDing on and off. Anyways, good luck!

I have a dream journal, but not on this site I should definitely start doing RC's when I wake up. Never thought about missing a false awakening! O.o

Yeah I've been keeping one, too. Suddenly, I'm remembering dreams I had as a child, dreams I never remembered the next morning, dreams I wrote down in dream journals years ago. It's crazy how out of tune you can get with your dreams and not even realize it.
