      New To Dreamviews

I'll mostly be making dream journals here.
Hi I go by Richard Adonis here.
I like to write books but i have bad grammar. i enjoy writing because i love to be creative. my imagination likes to wander though and that sometimes causes me to zone out and get me into trouble.
I hope to be an active member on this site.

Ask me anything else that comes to mind.

Ey Richard, nice to have you in the league. Nice to know you already have your dream journal(it'll surely help you in your journey to Lucid Dreaming). Anyway, feel free to browse the forums. I'm sure you'll be able to find wonderful and informative articles out there about lucid dreaming. Also, if you got some questions, feel free to ask anything by posting a thread, sending me a message or any of the folks under the dream guides category located in the staff list. If you have enough time, you can visit the forum's official chat room to meet some of your fellow DV folks. Good luck in your Lucid Dreaming quest

I've been dreaming for as long as i can remember. some of them have given me great ideas. but i came to this site because my most recent one made me more scared than anything. it didn't feel like a dream.

It's natural to experience dreams that scare the crap out of you. But always keep in mind that they're nothing but the product of your own mind so there's no reason for you to be scared of. Just breath in, breath out, and ask yourself wether if it's a dream. If it's a dream, do everything you want(e.g. fly, sex, x-ray vision, etc). If it's real, turn around and start running.

Yeah, but from what i was told it was Sleep Paralysis. I felt something sitting on my shoulders. like it was eating the air above me.
I hate being useless, it reminded me of martial arts training. i could barely do anything.

Ey, sorry for the late reply. Sleep Paralysis is something you shouldn't be afraid of. It's your pathway into the dream world. Sleep Paralysis is often accompanied by effects called Hypnagogic Hallucinations that can take the form of visuals, sounds, etc. The weight on your shoulders is an example of a Hypnagogic Hallucination . Anyway, you shouldn't fight sleep paralysis. Like what I've said, it's like a gate into a dream. Just lie there, let it consume you, wait for it to be over, get up, and check your surroundings if you're inside a dream version of your bedroom or the place you've slept. Hope this helps.
