I'm Alpha, and it's a privilege to be a new member to this site. I've used dream views rather extensively lately for research related to ld'ing, and I've found it quite useful. In my past I've experienced lucid/controlled dreams by random chance, and never quite understood the implications. Recently, I've read up more on this concept and decided I'd attempt to control my dreams consciously. From the research I had done, I learned that consistent conscious effort, dream recall, and trained techniques (among many other methods) all helped pave the way to regular lucid/controlled dreams. Dream recall I had, a majority of the others I could achieve with minimal time spent and no expenditure whatsoever. So with my curiosity piqued, I continued forward with my efforts. Days ago my first ld occurred after several nights of failed WILD attempts, on an evening when I was sleeping away from home. I won't go into detail, but it was a rather odd experience. I was, however, spurred on by this random success. More recently, I've gained better form in use of the WILD technique, and have become lucid immediately after the beginning of dreams several times a night. Unfortunately, I awake right after this occurs. In ending, it's a pleasure to be here. I hope to have many varied, wonderful experiences with ld's in the times ahead. To achieve this, I'll be sticking around with you wonderful folk for a while. Hope you'll have me. ^_^ TL;DR: Hay guys!!!! Like, love the site and all. IS GREATTT!!! Enjyu: Thank you, and I've been practicing for roughly 2 to 3 weeks now on and off. I mostly practice at home a little before my usual time to go to bed. [I know that's not the best time, but I've got a 40 hour a week work schedule.] I listen to binaural beats through my headphones [Low alpha transitioning to theta], which helps me relax and keep a steady cycle. Izrail: Good to know. Seems as if a lot of good rp'ing sites have really declined lately, wouldn't you say?

I spoke to a user about reviving the rp forum a bit with some original threads. Looking for some people to help moderate/drive the storyline some and some wildcards to play the parts if you don't want to get too involved.
