      Hello DreamViews!

Hey everyone, i've been actively reading these forums for a while now, but just decided to start posting. I have a history of lucid dreaming although i didn't know it was called that at the time. When i was younger maybe 7 or 8 i would have a dream where i would create a room that had teleporters to specific places i wanted to go and i could get to this room whenever i went to sleep or even during the middle of the day.

I did a lot of research on LD a while back and just started keeping a dream journal a few weeks ago. I've not yet had my first lucid dream. A problem i've been running in to lately is that my dream recall has been reduced to just fragments or short sections of dreams or even not remembering anything at all.

Any advice or experiences would be appreciated, as of right now my main goal is to remember as many and as much of my dreams as possible before beginning induction techniques and suck

      Welcome to DV!

I would suggest reading through the Wiki

The best thing to do is stick with trying one or two techniques and try your best to master them, don't go technique jumping or else you'll never get the full benifits of any of them.
Also, that's a terrific idea to build up your recal first. So many people try to jump straight into LDing and get discouraged when they can't remember a perfect lucid the very first night.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the forums or pm me. I promise, I dont bite.

      Happy dreaming!

Just be patient and build up your recall. Wright down everything you can and you will fet much more recall pretty quickly especially since you have such a nice history with dreams already.

      Welcome to Dreamviews.

Here is a method I recommend and it is my personal method, it is called FID (focus into dream).

      here is the link.

It might not give you success at first try, but try it for like a week before you dump it.

      Good luck.
