      Hello, I'm Barry.

So, I only discovered that lucid dreaming even existed about a week ago and ever since I heard about it, I was instantly interested and wanted to experience the lucid dream state. I started watching youtube videos about the subject and then I came across this site today I only ever rarely remembered my dreams, so my main focus is improving my dream recall, I purchased Kelly Howell Lucid dreaming tracks and listened to them last night, I remembered 5 dreams in one night, but unfortunately I didn't get the Lucid dream state. So yeah, hello!

Welcome, Lucid dreaming is very interesting and fun to experience. However, you need to believe in it and have motivation or you will not succeed. One major thing i recommend to all people new to lucid dreaming is a dream journal. Could be on the computer or simply just in a notebook. The key to a dream journal is to increase your dream recall, and you will realize it works very well. Also, a dream journal reminds you that your dreams are important to you and that they mean something. When dreams are important to you you focus more on remembering them. The better your dream recall is the better you will get at lucid dreaming. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

      Welcome to DV ^_^
For recall, use a dream journal like mentioned. I don't use it on the site, but I use a notebook on my bedside. You can also use a voice recorder or whatever means if it's easier.
Just keep confident and you'll get your recall and LD count up ^_^ feel free to ask if you have questions

Yes, I will be using the dream journal on this site everyday, I actually find it quite fun

I have noticed a difference in my dream recall, going from remembering my dream about once a month to 2-3 dreams a night is awesome. Hopefully I will get my first ever LD soon

      welcome Barry =].

2-3 dreams a night sounds like your not far away at all. But remember its not just about recall, pick a technique and stick with it, get those RC's down.
      Best of luck!
