      A new lucid deam

I was on a coach stood up talking to the driver. I became aware that he was driving at full speed towards a petrol station. It was then I realised hang on this can't be real. I then RC'd my finger through my palm and became lucid...

... just as we crashed into the petrol station in a fiery inferno which woke me up... damm... bad timing. No time to stabilise. I did have a laugh about it upon waking though. Too many action movies I reckon.

Congrats on your lucid dream! Why not put it into your dream journal so people can find the entry more easily ? Also, try to go back to that feeling of being lucid as most as you can. It's your personal ultimate weapon to visualize getting lucid again!

Thanks for the tip. It can only improve as far as I'm concerned. I'm still undecided though about having a public dream journal I have to say.

I'm having better luck with the MILD so far. Haven't been able to achieve a WILD yet but I think I almost did last night. Will write about it later since I have some questions.

MILD is a great technique and for WILD, just keep practicing at it, but not to the point of frustration.

Sounds way more intense than my first LD. Congrats on your success!

Keep at it, you'll do fine.

I also concur with what Erii says, WILD'ing takes practice, but worth it, in my opinion.
