Well, I'm not sure this is a lucid dream or not, because it didn't feel anything like real life. It just felt kind of like a hazy dream that I remembered.

I go to bed, and do my first sleep cycle, have a short dream as usual, and forget it. I then go back to sleep, and I start a dream. I only remember the part before I may have become lucid. There were a bunch of fake alligators that I was picking up, and one of them was real. I got scared and ran back to my room and closed the door behind me. I turned around to look at my door, and I could see through it, or it was open, or it was gone, one of the three. I was like "hey, I just slammed the door and I can see through it. Am I dreaming?" I then performed the breathing through nose when fingers are pinching it RC and I could breathe! I said "wow, I think I'm lucid!". I remembered how you can lose them fast, so I tried to dreamspin. This is the part that confuses me. I stood up and started spinning in really fast circles, but nothing happened. I did it twice, and nothing happened. Then I woke up.

Now the two things that make this seem like it's not lucid are :

a) I didn't recall the dream like it was real. I also don't remember if I was in first or third person.

B) Dreamspinning didn't work.

Was this just a normal dream that was maybe just about lucid dreaming, not an actual lucid dream?
