      Hello dere

Yup so I'm brand new to this forum, came over from reddits r/lucid dreaming subforum after realizing the scarcity of the information it had to offer,

As customary with noobs such as myself, I'll ask the reader a question:

I've never become lucid, have had a dream journal for about 3-4 days, been doing checks. What method should I use to pursue my first ld?

Thanks for reading, I'm glad to be a part of this site,

      -Alex-

Welcome to DV! There are two main methods: MILD and WILD. In general, MILD is easier for lots of people. Dream journal and daytime awarenes technique will be helpful for both techniques. I suggest to read the tutorials to find out lots more details and decide for yourself No matter which technique you pick, please post your questions, people here will be happy to help Happy dreams

Hey, welcome to DreamViews. There sure is a lot of helpful information available here. If you haven't already, read the Beginners Guide to Lucid Dreaming. That might help you pick a suitable technique. The wiki here on DreamViews lists both user tutorials and DV tutorials regarding lucid dreaming. The first step it to start a dream journal, which will increase your dream recall and chances of lucid dreaming. Don't forget to visit us in chat sometime! : o)
