Hello everyone, my name is Jonathan and i started my dream journal on the 12th of April 2012(about 8 days ago) and i believe i had my first lucid dream today during a midday nap. It wasn't very long, i believe i got to excited and woke up I'm just confused because i have not started to do reality checks yet. Any thoughts anyone?

It's great that you've started your dream journal - lucid dreams do not have to be initiated by reality checks, reality checks can just often help Sometimes when thinking about lucid dreaming enough, lucid dreams can happen spontaneously.
