      Hello!

I have been very interested in lucid dreaming recently but haven't even been able to have a dream. I've tried the WILD technique and presently doing reality checks.

Anyone have any specific suggestions or tips?

      Hi and welcome!

What you first need to do, is to improve your recall. If you can't recall your dreams it doesn't matter if you get lucid. Do that by always writing down your dreams when you wake up in the form of keywords. If you can't recall anything then lie perfectly still and relax. Soon the dreams will come to you as your body thinks you're falling back asleep. WILD should also always be done during either a nap or a WBTB (4.5, 6 or 7 hours into sleep).

Doing Reality Checks is a good way to start improving your awareness, which lucid dreaming is all about. Just keep it up with those and focus on your recall for now.

      Keep on dreaming!

Welcome to Dreamviews! I recommend just browsing through the forum and wiki, you will learn a lot. I also recommend reading the beginners guide to lucid dreaming. It is full of tips for beginners and will tell you how to get started. Good luck!
