      First Lucid Dreams!

I've had my first lucid dreams this week, I would say they were only semi lucid dreams thoe. On Sunday morning I had my very first one, I dreamt I was walking along side a road with traffic and it suddenly occured to me i'm dreaming, I read a technique that if you rub your hands you prolong your lucidity. I looked at my hands they looked weird and grey, kind of like Danny Devito's Penguin man's hands.

Anyway as I felt myself begginning to wake up I rubbed my hands, not only did this prolong my lucidty but it made me 10 time more aware of my surroundings, I could'nt believe how real the dream felt at this point. I decided experiment and punched huge dents into a passing car! then I started dancing in the middle of the road, by then I got distracted and lost lucidity.

In my second dream I was in a strange house with lots of people in, I was stood in front of a room and this girl walked past me and gave me a dirty look. This is when I realised I was dreaming and I looked up a nearby flight of stairs and willed another girl to walk down the stairs, it did'nt happen strangely enough, maybe I have more to learn on dream control, I then got distracted and lost lucidity.

In my third lucid dream which happened this morning, I encountered my deceased mother and strangely enough me and my brother were talking about our mother the previous day. Anyway I walked into my dining room and seen my mother, this is when I told myself I had to be dreaming as she is dead. I rubbed my hands straight away and it became so real it was scary, I looked at my mother and she smiled at me and I hugged her. But then she started giving me an evil sort of grin and I kind of got freaked by this and then I found myself looking up at her like as if I were a little child again, this freaked me out even more so I woke myself up.

And that is it so far, I would say they were semi lucid dreams as they did not last long and I never think to experiment, like flying around or finding things out about myself.

      Congratulations, Sean!

Now that you know you can do it, that should boost your confidence, and in turn that should make it easier to gain lucidity in the future. Here's wishing you many fantastic lucid experiences!
