      Just making myself feel welcomed

Hello my fellow Lucid Dreamers and LD enthusists!! Just a note to say hi coz ul be seeing a bit of me around here. Ive been having LD's since i was little and didnt think it was anything special until me and some mates sat down and watched "Waking Life" (if you havnt seen it then go to your local video store right now and get it!!!) This movie sparked up some light bulbs in my head about dreaming. Ive always been facinated with dreams but using dreams to their full potential is the key. By obtaining lucidity in our dreams we can accomplish ANYTHING! The technique of yelling out what you want in you dream intrigues me and i am yet to try it. I believe we can figure out unsolved mysteries through our LD's, maybe even find a cure for cancer, who knows.
The oppourtunities are endless. See you round!!!
If we spend on average 22 years of our life asleep or dreaming, we arguably live two lives...Our awake life and our dream life.

Hi Placid Dreams, Glad you managed to find your way to the forum

Waking Life was the first movie that officially classified the term 'Lucid Dreams' for me like alot of people. I've always been interested in dreaming since I was a child but seeing that movie changed my perspective of awareness and life, it had a huge impact on me when I first watched it maybe 2 years ago.

I love your enthusiasm when you talk about dreaming, you can tell your passionate about the subject, lets hope that one day a lucid dreamer does find a cure for cancer

Hope you manage to find your way around the forum.
