WOW. I mean, there was like, NO punctuation there. Had me in a bit of a daze for a while. Anyway...

Yeah, it's very possible to dream about having a Lucid Dream. It's quite annoying, really...Lots of people will experience many dreams where they say to themselves that they are dreaming, but never really go lucid, or something similar to that. The only way around it is to practice Reality Checks (see the tutorial page) so that you can truly go lucid.

      BTW, welcome to the forum!

hi welcome to the board. I don't so much dream about being lucid, as go lucid and fail to recognise it...if that makes any sense!
Keep doing the reality checks, and let's hope you have better luck than i do!

One of the theories of lucidity states that you are never really lucid in your dreams, nor can you control them. You only dream that you can. But that doesn't make any differnence imo. I mean for all we know we might not be in control of our own lifes, but we feel we do. So what difference does it make?

I've had that experience to btw. I was standing on a busstop and then I saw this girl that goes to my school, I don't know her. I walked up to her, and at that instant I figured "I must be dreaming". So I asked her if I was dreaming. I didn't become lucid, I woke up just as I asked her. The dream after that was lucid. Anyways afterwards I have no memory of deciding to ask her if I was dreaming. It was just something I dreamt. A part of a non-lucid dream. btw, the dream after was my second lucid dream ever. ;D

So, yes, it's highly likely you can dream that you're lucd
