      Had an LD, Couldn't Make Things Appear

      I had my most lucid and longest lucid dream last night, my first two were about 15 seconds, and this one was about 5 minutes.

      I was at school the whole day, and everything just felt weird. My feet felt really heavy when I was walking, and I just felt really weird. I get home, and lay in my bed (where all of my lucid dreams have begun thus far). I'm like "today was really weird, maybe I'm dreaming". So I perform the pinched nose breathing RC, and I pass it. So now I'm like "Ok, I am dreaming. Last time I tried dream spinning I woke up, so I'm just going to slowly open my eyes and get up." So I do so, and I can get up without waking up. I take a couple of steps, and there's kind of a blurred path behind where I walk. So I'm like "ok this feels pretty real, but at least I know it's a dream."

      Now that I'm in the dream stage, the only thing I want to do is have sex of course. So I leave my room and close the door, and then open it again hoping to have this girl I know on my bed. No luck. So I'm like whatever. I go downstairs and walk outside, and I'm like "maybe I can fly to her house and see her there" (even though I've never been to her house). So I try to fly and at first I don't move but after trying a few times I get it. I flew really high and for about 3 minutes, but I wasn't getting anywhere. It felt like I was flying a long distance, but I only went about 30 feet. So I just landed across the street lol and there was a boat there and a guy outside of it. I walked up to the boat and the guy's like "here, let me take that for you" and he takes off my shirt I think. Then I walked into the dark boat hoping to find the girl, but I just wake up instead.

      Now I was happy to have my dream and all, but why can't I make things that I want appear?

      Control takes practice. You were able to fly -- that's a major accomplishment right there. But controlling yourself in a LD is easier than controlling your environment.

      Try being more certain of what will happen in your dream. You said you were "hoping" that the girl would appear on your bed. Next time, be absolutely certain that when you walk into your room, she will be there.

      Hey Hepennypacker52! Its great to see another bodybuilder thats into lucid dreaming too. But about making that girl appear, I had the same problem a few nights ago. What everyone suggested to do is to expect the girl to be there. You can't have a doubt about it. You have to know she's gonna be there. Hope to see more of ya on BB.com and Dreamviews!

      mm neva thought of the possibilities regarding getting laid in LD, wonder if its as good as in real life eh? angelina jolie ur gonna be busy next time i LD hahaha

      Everything is as realistic as you want it to be.
      In the good ol' days, people said that you should pinch your arm to check if you were dreaming.
      It actually DOES hurt even when you're dreaming, but not that intense.
      So for sex, the better you KNOW it should be, the better it will be.
