Hey destinn, welcome to Dreamviews! I'm glad you joined all of us here, and if you keep trying to learn to LD, you will see results soon!

I don't know how much you know about LD so, I'm just gonna say some basics and post some links.

Firstly, it's almost impossible to lucid dream without starting a dream journal. A dream journal is a notebook you keep by your bed and write down your dreams in it. It will boost your dream recall a lot! It tells your brain that dreams are important to you and you should remember them. Every morning you wake up, you need to stay still and remember your dreams, then write them in your DJ. (Dream Journal)

Next you have to start doing reality checks. Reality checks are where you test yourself to see if you are in a dream. A common reality check is pinching your nose and trying to breathe through it. In real life you can't breathe through your nose like that. But in a dream you can, so you know you are dreaming. You have to do many RC's (Reality Checks) throughout the day for them to carry over into your dreams.

You should read this guide, it's extremely helpful to beginners and experienced lucid dreamers! It's a quick read and it covers all the basics.

I hope you make some friends here, and have your first lucid dream soon, it's exhilarating, and you crave more!

Welcome, I hope that you find all the information that you seek. If you cannot find it in the long and detailed posts and guides of the experienced users, then you can ask anybody here for help I guess as USA said, recall is the most important first step towards lucidity and I future in conscious dreaming.

      Good luck!
