Well, it probably was not the fish oil. I've often taken fish oil pills, as well as eating oily fish on occassion, and I can assert no positive correlation to lucid dreaming there by.

Perhaps it was the bug bites. Do you know what kind of bug bit you? Perhaps we could all go out and expose ourselves to insect infestation for the sake of our Lucid Dreaming.

they were wolf spiders we had a bad infestation last year and i got over 50 bites in a week--the other 6 days of the week i didnt dream at all but the last day i ate the fish oil and had a lucid dream--could just be a coincidence though but w/e

ok i think it was the fish oil--today i decided to just expirement with it again and i went into rem while my eyes were wide open and then i started to dream and i kept trying to convince myself it was a dream but i couldnt so i gave up and woke myself up

i dont know why but im having trouble believe you there buddy. the only way i could conceive of going into REM with your eyes open would be if you had my covetted hemisync mp3s playing forcing your brain to go into REM sleep.

Woah, how did you go into REM with your eyes wide open, did you do something special?

they werent exactly ""wide"" open but they were open enough so i could see the door to my room and a few poseters from my room. All that i did was i layed down and just kept thinking about a picture i had in my head...i wasnt even trying to have a lucid dream but i just had a picture i couldnt get out of my head from gtavc of the malibu club. Anyway i thought as hard as i could about that picture. I all of a sudden got a sensation llike i was sinking into my bed, then felt like i was falling. i started looking around with just my eyes and all of a sudden they started going nuts. I kept twitching and i thought i was like having a seizure. Then i kept seeing all these birds like all around me and it was really weird. then i was all of a sudden in the movie theatre. I asked myself the same question "how did i get here" and i knew i was dreaming after that. But for some reason i couldnt control what was happening so i just woke myself up. The weirdest part was that i saw the door to my room throughout the whole thing...

I have that problem with the hemisync mp3s, my eyes stay slightly open, but everything has a greenish tint

do what i do now. put a tube sock over your eyes.

i think i will try what someone else in another thread said they did and use a band aid, maybe some tape, or i can try super glue

...you could use a blindfold lol
