Yes. I was talking to one of my adoptions about using HI to enter into a dream. To my suprise there was no tutorial. So I made one.
It is essentially WILD but you use hypnagogic images to lead you into your dream state rather than auto suggestion and the like.

This has been the only way that WILD has worked for me!

Ok, I tried it last night, and well it was a failure. I got really far though. I did everything until the images started to become animated. The tutorial said not to focus to much attention, but enough so that you don't go to sleep "un"lucid. The first three times, I was paying just enough attention, but I got a bit carried away almost went into sleep and I was like "No I cant I'm Dreaming", but when I did that, I woke up. So that happened like 2 more times, and I kept paying too much attention and woke up again. Then the 4th time I was like I cant pay that much attention or else I'll wake up again, however, I don't know what happened after that, which probably means that I was paying too little attention and fell asleep. Well, I was really close and I'm gonna try again tonight. If anyone else got close, or past that stage, please post your findings.

I just tried this yesterday, my God, it kicks ass! But the thing is when i woke up, my body (arms and feet) were drained, why does this happen? is this suppose to happen? did i do it right? just wondering because it was pretty weird yet cool at the same time.

But Im not too Thrilled about your Avatar. I mean it doesn't fit you. You should get a new one that just shows a pair of long legs with some RED fishnet thigh-high stockings. Now thats the kind of avatar you should have..tehehe...

wow this went off topic fast, neway what did you do, then we can determine if you did it rite, and also it might be normal, since you're going into the dream state conscious, and i have a question for you, how did you get past the part where you have to pay attention to the animated pics, but not too much and not too little, any tips there?

Wow...yeah that would fit me well. Since I'm a street walker? You have odd taste. A trenchcoat with nothing underneath and boots. And you already know I can't stand your avatar. Anyways...I love mine. It suits me just fine if you know anything about me that is.

What is your status at the point where you have the many fleating images?
Do you drift off into sleep or do you wake up?

Yea lol i just chose to ignore the fighting. As i lay there images or ideas will pop into my head, the more tired I get the faster the images or ideas flow. They will come and go they are there for a second and they are gone. Yeah my problem is that I fall asleep and I dont know how to enter the dream from those images. But last night I think i got some animations but only for a little bit then they would be gone. I got a vision in my head of characters from a movie i saw last night being interviewed I tried to will myself into that scene but i diddnt know how... THEN my cell phone rang omg this random girl called me with the wrong number for the second time that night i was like wtf...noooo u dont understand..... and she was like oh.... ehurrh god i was so mad. What did i do wrong anyways?

You said you tried to will yourself into one of the animations. Well, I think that anytime you make an "effort" of any sort, you're using what I call "alertness energy".


The game:
Try to imagine you're like a game character with an energy bar that goes up and down depending on how "alert" you are. When you're trying to sleep, the object of the game is to get the bar down really low, without it getting to zero. Like somewhere between 2% and 10% (zero meaning you fall asleep - aka, game over!).This "sweet spot" is your only window of opportunity to slip past the zero point without being unconscious - therefore lucid.

The challenge is this:
Try to fend off "jumping into" any imagery untill you reach this 2-10% "sweet spot". Any type of effort on your part will instantly create a "spike" in your alert bar, making you more alert. If you can manage to get to the sweet spot, however, even a short spike will keep you below that certain percentage needed to slip into a WILD (let's just say that point is something like 15-25%). What makes this difficult that the closer you get to zero, the harder it is to remember what you're trying to do.

It's tough, but it's something that I think is luck as well as skill.

As for answering the question, I usually just relax a bit when I look at them, at least until my body falls asleep. Then my mind will, too!
