you pose some interesting ideas...i'm wondering, if maybe you're trying too hard..i've been through all this, as recently as last night...
and i find if i'm too tired, or too awake, such techniques don't work...although i'm not sleeping well just now, so recall has taken a nose dive anyway...
and setting your alarm for six hours after going to sleep sounds like a great idea...even if you don't manage to WILD or HIT...you should at least wake up at the end of a REM cycle and be able to remember a dream...
