      Hello all

Hi I am new to this forum this is actually my first posting. I have been interested in lucid dreaming for quite a while and have been attempting to have a successful lucid dream, i was having no luck until last night. Last night i had my first lucid dream, however almost as soon as i realized it was a dream, the world became black and i awoke in my bed. It was pretty intense, it felt so real, im looking forward to another. Hopefully next time it will last a little longer. Interstingly enough i was listening to Oasis and reading their lyrics which seem to be about ludic dream, or opening the minds eye, which i figure are very simmilar activities. Ok im probibly making no sense so i will stop talking.

Hey there and welcome to the forum.

That's great that you managed to have a lucid dream. There is quite alot of information about what you can do once you get lucid in order to keep your dream from fading. Check out some of the different forum sections here such as...Attaining Lucidity, and Dream Control.

And of course if you have any questions feel free to ask.

      hi, welcome to the board.
As encouragement: As you get more confident at lucid dreams, you'll find you're less likely to wake up from them, as the feeling of lucidity won't excite you as much...you'll begin to accept it as a 'normal' part of dreaming.
keep at it, and don't give up!
