Hello all, I'm an aspiring lucid dreamer who has joined the site in hopes that it could help me in my quest to attain lucidity. I'm not completely new, I've been researching and attempting lucid dreaming for a month or two, experimenting with various methods. Right now, I'm attempting the DEILD method, as it seems like its a simple and effective way of gaining lucidity. I'm hoping that the method will prove successful, and possibly help me complete a WILD if I get good enough at it. (I've tried and failed the WILD method many times...). I'm open for any tips that you could provide to help me obtain the ability to finally be lucid in my dreams. Thanks, -CoherentBassist

I want to thank everyone for posting! Glad to be here. . I'm having some trouble with DEILD, I can't seem to remember to stay still and such. Perhaps my intentions aren't set well enough? Anyways, I'm going to try another WILD tonight, too late to try to get a DEILD. On a side note with the DEILD, I don't need an alarm, as I wak up naturally throughout the night, though I'm not too sure if I'm waking up during the wrong part of my sleep cycle or not. Either way, I'm having complications.
