      Please help me!

Right i had a dream a couple of nights ago, where i was just walking through my local town, and suddenly thought, 'oh my god i think i'm dreaming' so i deliberatly tried to wake myself up, and i did wake up.

I need your help because until today, i didn't even know you could control your dreams, and the idea has got be excited.

So if someone could explain whats happening i would be very greatful.

Go back to the main page and read all the basic info. Then you can check out the tutorials section and parts of the forum that deal with Attaining Lucidity and so forth.
If you have any questions along the way don't hesitate to PM me, or any of the Dreamguides (they're names are in green).

May you attain perfect peace Tommy,

Hmm... an act to follow that.

Hey Tom! Glad you joined us. There's quite a few people here who in the past have realized they're dreaming and have woken themselves up. The next time you realize you're dreaming, relax. Nothing bad's going to happen. One helpful thing if you're trying to have a meaningful Lucid Dream is to decide what you'd like to do before going to bed. Then when you realize you are in a dream, have at it! Do what you would like and if you have any trouble just let us know and we will do our best to help you out.

Hey Tommy, welcome to the forum! I can't help you a lot, I've had just 4 lucid dreams up to now, it would be the best to read the main site (www.dreamviews.com), there are some useful suggestions. The main idea is that anything you can imagine can appear in your dream, for instance, you can imagine that you are flying and it will happen. The most important thing is to believe that it will happen. The tricky part is not to get overexited and wake up and not to forget that you are dreaming.
It's great that you had a lucid dream before you knew that such things exist!
      Good luck dreaming!
