Hello Seitilaer! First of all....welcome Glad you found us, and yes, lucid dreaming is THAT awesome. I'm sure you'll love your journey around here
Don't be afraid of lucid dreaming, because there's no need to. Yes, the reality you will experience is far more real than any virtual reality game you played...sometimes your senses can be working at a higher level than waking life, but it's all down to your world, your mind, your creations. Any time something displeases you, you can just change it, step away, or wake yourself up. I never had any frightening experiences in my lucid dreams, although I did saw some weird stuff...like dream characters wearing my clothes or meeting Freud!
when you lucid dream , the world you're in - is it set in the time zone where you really are ? Such as , if I am lucid dreaming at night , the world that I am exploring - is it in the night time ?
Yes and no When you're lucid in a dream, what you're experiencing is just a mental model of reality. Just imagine waking life but instead of being made of external sources, everything you see is a product of memories, expectations, wishes, emotions, etc. You can change the setting of the dream to anything you want. Never flew before? Your brain will recreate the sensation by mixing up loads of different experiences you had, like the wind, the sensation of no gravity, etc. You can find scenarios which are at night, others at day, visit planets that have 3 suns...it's unlimited, anything that your imagination is capable of you can do in a lucid dream...and it feels real, in case you're thinking about eating some nice tasty lasagna! Sometimes you can visit familiar places like your house and find many differences, and even talk to dream characters like your family and see that they behave like you'd expect them to...or not.
if you are lucid dreaming , and someone in your house is for example in the kitchen , when you lucid dream , do you actually can see them but they can't see you ?
No, when you lucid dream everything happens in your head. Some people believe that other type of experience (OBE/astral projection) can lead you to interact with the waking world while being...some sort of ghost...but this was never proven scientifically. But lucid dreaming= all in your brain. That means don't be afraid of pushing one person aside to get to the front of the ice cream line
