      Old member gaining interest again

      Hello everyone!

I used to be into lucid dreaming a lot well over a year or two ago, but my lack of discipline in keeping up a dream journal caused me to slowly lose interest and forget about dreams altogether.

But I'm back! It's been so long I thought I might as well write another introduction.

What do you use for a dream journal? Right now I have a nice iPad app and a nice moleskine book ready to go but I don't know which to use. Also, my main problem in keeping a dream journal is waking up and thinking "there was nothing special about that dream, it's just going to be a hassle writing down stuff that isn't worth anything". Then later in the day I want to smack myself for not writing it down.

      It's good to be back!

Welcome, Semisubzero! Me I mostly use the Dream Journal feature of dreamviews to record my dreams using an iPhone. However, I have also tried with a notebook - the main problem with the notebook was that it would not reliably stay put where I put it down (not my fault), and I could not count on it always being there right under my bed, whereas my iPhone is there when I need it. I so totally know what you are talking about with barely awake not clearly conscious lazy thinking fooling me into not writing down the dream because it was not worthwhile, and later when I am fully awake I get frustrated with myself.
You may say I'm a dreamer.
