Greetings

I've been a browser of this forum for quite some time, but only just created an account today. I've increasingly found that there are interesting conversations taking place on these forums that I'd like to be a part of. I'd also like to think that by being active on these forums, I'll start spending more time thinking about lucid dreams, which in turn will lead me to spending more time working on lucid techniques ultimately resulting in my having increased lucidity in dreams

I learned about/started trying to have lucid dreams about 5 years ago, and became interested in some arguably related topics such as meditation and psychadelic drug experiences more recently. Ever since I first had the goal of becoming an expert at lucid dreaming, though, I've been plauged by inconsistency in my own resolve to write down dreams in the morning. I've typically disciplined over the summer, but lax to the point of not doing it at all during school, and these short-medium streches of active lucidity training, followed by long breaks, have resulted in a rather unsatisfactory experience overall.

Here I am once again in the middle of summer, with my dream recall better than it has ever been before, and the frequency of my lucid dreams about as good as it has ever been for me. But when I move back to the university in a month, I fear that I will once again let my lucid practice fall by the wayside. I hope that my becoming active on these forums could be the difference that makes the difference, and that lucid dreaming will finally become a permanent part of my life.
