waking up from phone that didn't ring

Does anybody know such dreams?

You hear the phone ringing and you actually wake up from this. Then go to check the phone to see who was calling and realise that it didn't even ring?
Or you hear your alarm clock going off and you wake up, turn it off, go to the bathroom and get ready for the day. Then you check the alarm clock again and it is actually one hour before you had to get up?

I have them sometimes, and it is a bit freaky as my mind seems to play tricks on me and they seem so realistic.

Anyone out there who has experienced similar things or am I the only one?

I usually get that as I'm falling asleep, not when I'm already in the dream. I think it's pretty common.

A phone ringing happens to me sometimes, usually when I'm first falling asleep. Most often, it's some odd ringer sound that's nothing like the one on my real phone.

Well, for me it sounds exactly like my real ring tone.
But it is reassuring that this happens also to others

... And now I even can use the times when I wake up way before my alarm goes - I can try to get a lucid dream

Like some others posted i too sometimes hear my phone beep (Text msg.) Also i tend sometimes to dream my alarm is going off, get up, shower, brush my teeth , get dressed ect. Its a real disappointment when i wake up to find that i didnt really do these things and that i have to repeat the whole process lol.

Well, I actually do wake up and get ready for the day... so it's not a false awakening like you described...

I have had the same thing happen to me the past few days I fall asleep around 11:00 pm and wake up around 4:00 am to the sound of my phone going off and when I go to see who is calling, there is no one calling.
