      Howdy from splendiferous Waco, Texas!

      Why, hello there.

You can call me C-Rex. I'm a student studying marketing in Texas, and I first gained interest in lucid dreaming after reading about it in a forum years ago (I can't remember the name). I tried for years to LD successfully, but I never got very far, and my obligations in high school prevented me from being successful. I actually have more time and privacy at University, and I'm ready to redouble my efforts and join a community that will help me along the way. I like writing, reading, and conversing about a wide number of things, and I look forward to getting to know you all and eventually nailing down this magical phenomenon I've heard so much about.

      Cheers!
      C-Rex

P.S. That post reads in an almost British way. I'm a Texan through and through, but apparently I have a flair for the European.

Welcome to Dream Views! That's a lot of persistence to get a lucid dream. I respect you. Anyway, have you been keeping a dream journal and recalling your dreams? If you have, great! One of the main components nessesary for lucid dreaming is awareness. If you're not aware in real life, then you most likely won't be aware in your dreams. Reality checks do help a lot with that.

Also, joining a community based around lucid dreaming should keep your motivation up. That's what I'm doing! <:

Good luck on getting lucid dreams!
