Hey everyone, I came across this site yesterday while looking up dreams on google. I saw an ad for something that helped you with 'lucid dreaming'. I'd never heard of it before, but I decided to look that up in google as well. Then I found this site.

I've been having a lot of dreams lately, and they've been much more in-depth and vivid then usual. What used to be a simple nightmare about me being chased or something, now seem to be generally developing plots and stories. So I decided to try out this lucidity stuff, hoping to be able to control the dreams even more. I've been aware that I was in a dream a few times before, but that feeling never lasted more than a few minutes, and I've don't seem to be able to control anything more than my thoughts during that time.

Anyway, this forum seems to be full of helpful, fun people, and I hope to have a great time here!

Hello Beefcube and welcome to Dream Views!

I think you're doing pretty well if you've already been lucid a few times. As you get more experienced they will become longer and you should have more control over your dream.

Do you have a dream journal? If not, you should start one and write all your dreams there. That helps you getting to know your dreams better as well as developing your dream recall.
