Hello. I decided to figure out about some of the lucid dreams that I have had in the past and found this place. I have been able to lucid dream since I was about 6. I have been able to control my dreams fully since I was in middle school. Since high school I have been able to tell what part of my brain was changing specific things in my dreams and just change pinpoints and things at will. I have a problem with this though. I have always had dreams (about one every month) that I am not generating. During these I have no control of outside effects, things are new (not brain makes me think that they are new but like it doesn't register making this here or there like someone else made it), and I also feel in between consciousness an subconsciousness. If you would like to know more specifically about them or if you could explain them please reply. Could a tulpa have influence over your dreams as well?

Welcome to Dreamviews! I'm not sure about how tulpas work. There is a section here about tulpas, maybe you would have better luck asking there? And I'm also not sure that we can tell if something is generated by our mind or not, since if nothing else, brain is interpreting the outside input (at least that's what I believe), so it's hard to say if it comes from outside or generated in the brain, especially when we talking dreams and similar. But I'm not going to dispute your belief, because I know nothing about it really, except that we know very little about our brains and dreams and dreamworld, and your feeling about your mind could be true. I have read though from some people, that they do visit what they call persistent realm. Places with their own set of rules, where they don't have any powers they do in other dreams or lucids.
