Introduction and First Night Lucid Dreaming

      Whatup,

My name is Chad, I've been friends w/ Etrain for awile now and he talked me into taking a look at this site. I read some of the tutorial and what-not and the introduction on lucid dreaming.

Suprisingly enough, I became interested in how you can possibly do whatever you want in a dream ( and it will be 100% real to you ). So I wrote on my dryerase board hanging on my wall "LUCID DREAM TONIGHT". I went to sleep not really thinking about lucid dreaming...

So my dream starts w/ me being in an OLD house which was mine for some reason or it felt like it. Out of nowhere I feel like my perspective is as if I was playing Half-Life2 ( Yeah I Know, Random as hell ) and a staircase made out of torn up wood caught on fire, I looked down at my hands to see if I was indeed playing Half-life 2. Thats when I realised I was actually lucid dreaming. It was so intense, for some reason I became so happy ( even though my staircase was on fire ). I remembered Ian Telling me you can summon objects and change whatever you want. So I decided to look for something small to change ( all of this is happening within 15 seconds, or it seems like it ), After awhile i end up finding a small box. I figured what the hell and changed it into a rabbit. I turned around to tell a friend( don't remember who it was ) that I was lucid dreaming than I woke up.

I just figured it was a little strange I had a lucid dream my night, I'm sure it was a lucid dream because I could control it somewhat but the box I wanted to change into something that I Couldn't think of... but it turned into a rabbit, and the staircase w/ the house I didn't "want" to be there either. It Seemed like a dream but w/ my ability to do limited lucid characteristics.

Other than my little experience just wanted to say Hi and hope I can one day learn to control my lucidity on command.

I'm starting a Dream Journal tomorrow morning.

Lol. Few things in the world can make you THAT happy. Ahh, the joys of lucid dreaming. 8)
