My accidental first lucid dream terrible

I had just come home from a long trip on which i had slept for around 2 hours. Directly when i came home, i hit the bed. After five minutes of hitting the bed, i directly started dreaming, and i don't know i knew i was dreaming, but i just did. I think i performed the WILD method without realizing. I had been trying to lucid dream for the past years and this was the first time it actually happened. Since it was my first lucid dream, i naturally wanted to do something awesome. I was outside and i decided i would fly upwards and create a storm. After i rose up, i started creating the storm, but while i was creating the storm, i started getting the feeling that i was being crushed, it made me feel like the time i had a seizure. I didn't want to stop my first lucid dream so i kept going for around 10 seconds. After those 10 seconds, I just decided to give up become the more i was getting crushed, the more i was being reminded of my seizure experience. This lucid dream was turning into a lucid nightmare. So i don't know or remember how but i forced myself to exit the dream, but the thing is i still didn't wake up. This all happened during the first 10 minutes of being in bed. I just wanted to know if lucid dreaming could actually be potentially dangerous for me. Thank you.

      I doubt it.

What happened here is that a bad memory of your subconscious flourished during your lucid dream. Sometimes, when we are lucid our subconscious tries to heal traumas and deal with problems taking advantage that we are fully conscious in a safe environment (a dream) where our physical body is safe.

I recommend you to keep pursuing lucid dreams and in your next lucid, if you get this feeling, stop whatever you are doing and try to talk to a DC. Ask him/her/it "Why I am having these feeling of being crushed. What message is behind this?" This should really help you.

DC is Dream Character. Pretty much all the people, animals, aliens, monsters and whatever else lurks in your dream with "a mind of their own" are DCs. They are reflections of your subconscious pretty much It is like the actors in your dream.
