      momentary lucidity

Hi, I'm new to this and I have a problem with staying lucid. I've kept a dream journal for a few months. I've become lucid about four times. The problem is that after a few moments I lose it. I've tried everything mentioned in the books such as looking around and analyzing things and even changing the scene. I've also been able to realize I'm dreaming and then fly but after just a short moment I'm back in the "dream state." I don't just wake up right afterward,I just lose my awareness and the dream takes over again. It's extremely frustrating. If there is a different technique please share it with me.
