      Introductions

Hey there, just wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little about how I came to this website.

Well, around six or seven years ago I had my second lucid dream in my life, my first one 13 years or more before that. Both of which I still remember clearly. After waking up and thinking about the level of control I had inside my dream I wondered if this phenomenon had a name; so the research began. After about a couple of hours searching on the internet I found what I was looking for and was pretty excited to learn that this state could be induced and even controlled. The next day I went to the local Barnes and Nobles and got the book "The Lucid Dreamer" by Malcolm Godwin and read it cover to cover that day excited to try out the techniques described in the text. Well, to put a long story short I have a problem with ADD and literally was distracted and forgot about lucid dreaming about a week later. Years later I found the book, remembered the lucid dreams I had and went back to the internet. It was this time that I found your website.

Well, distractions aside Im getting on just fine.
I just now finished 2 enteries into the sites dream journal section of the boards, look under Somnus' dream journal. Normally recall is.... ahem horrible. Normally I remember having a dream maybe, MAYBE once every other week. But last night I tried one of the suggestions in the tutorial sections called AutoSuggestion, thats where I say to myself "I WILL remember my dreams", and this morning, BOOM, I remember 2 distinct dreams and had the feeling that I may have had 3 or even 4.
