Hi everyone my name is Cy.

Iv been trying to control my dreams for about 4 years unsuccessfully. well except for a few here and there. but i wish to always be in full control of my dreams almost every night, so that i may live them out as consciously as i live in the outside world.

i believe the inner world is the ultimate freedom, and i was hoping making an account would push me to take it to the next level and be a bit more serious. With help and guidance from you knowledgeable people of coarse.

I have lots of distractions and not enough free time. 2 children and a wife, small house. I'm talking about 1 bed 1 bath very tiny, nowhere to escape to lol.

And forgive my spelling and grammar if i have made any mistakes, i was never big on caring for them >.<
That being said, this is my 1st time being active in a forum.

Welcome to the forums mate

Waking life sure can be busy and I resonate 100% with wanting to escape.

Make sure you keep up a dream journal and when you start getting lucid dreams, you can work on improving your dream control.

Check out the Tasks of the Month & Year as this is a motivation for many to lucid dream and improve control!

I used to have one, i will have to jump back on that.

I had my 1st lucid dream experience when i was 11 i believe.
We lived in a 2 story house with a guest room upstairs. This room always gave me the creeps.

My dream started off with me in the house. i dont know what triggered me to realize i was dreaming but it happened.
I said to myself "i can tell this is a dream" so i wandered the house until i got the guest bedroom. The door slammed closed when i looked at it. i knew there was something negative inside.

Then i said "if this is a dream then i should be able to do what i want."
I looked at my hands and as by magic i summoned a sword of energy. with this sword my anxiety faded and i knew i could defeat whatever was inside.
i willed the door open with my mind as i could feel it was locked using some sort of magic. i stepped inside and i saw it. i remember it not being so frightening. A very plain ghost with the will to destroy me. With very swift movements i made of series of slices into the ghost, i knew i could move as fast or as slow as i wanted. the ghost faded and the room felt lighter in a sense. i woke up soon after.

After i had this experience i have tried many many times to achieve this level of control which i had at a young age.. sometimes i feel as though i have them, but i forget upon waking. my memory in the waking world is also very weak lol.
but i am willing now to take a more aggressive approach. To Really try. And thats why i am here lol
