Dream recall checklist and an update

Well, its been about four days since I've started my dream journal. So far I've recalled five dreams in that four day period. I've gone through the dream recall tutorial and have used the auto-suggestion method and have kept up my journal. Just last night I started to take a B-complex vitamin that contains 75mg of B-6, which is 3750% of the daily recomended dose. I am aware of the damage that overdoseing B-6 can cause, so I wont be taking any more again for about a week. Befor I started using these techniques, I would normally only remember one dream every month or so and I've only had 2 LD in 27 years that I can remember, one of which only lasted a very short time befor I lost controll and lost lucidity(?) and now Im remembering at least one dream every night, so far thats a HUGE step towards my goals. If anyone has any other recall methods or suggestions I am always willing to listen and impliment them.

Well, the best thing you can do to build your recall is to write your dreams down every day. Also, it's often helpful if you wake up during the night and keep your Dream Journal handy. During the night if you can remember your dreams, I'd recommend writing down a general outline of what happened rather than every little detail just so you can recall it in the morning. Then, you can always go back and fill in the blanks when you have more time.

But yah, just keep at it. It must be awesome to have recovered your recall after so long. Dreams are awesome

hmmm, I take 50mg B-complex vitamins as well and occasionally take an extra 100mg of B-6 before bed - but I don't know of any "damage" this could cause. Your body just flushes out what it doesn't need (indicated by the very bright yellow urine which occurs after). Am I correct in this or no?

Another alternative to journaling your dreams is keeping a little tape recorder handy. This involves less muscle movement and you could even do it with your eyes closed, which will make it easier for you to fall back asleep.

I think I may try the tape recorder thing.
