      Introduction for Crypto

Hello. My name is Chris and I am a 21 year young man from California. I first learned about lucid dreaming when I was at age 16. After one week of attempts, I was able to induce my first lucid dream. The first lucid dream that I could recall anyway. I do not know why, but somehow I completely forgot about lucid dreaming. I have recently gained an interest in LD once again. Maybe I will be able to experience a second LD. Yes, the LD I had five years ago was the only one.

The main aspect of LD that intrigues me is the possibility of exploring ones subconcious mind, and unlocking memories. Also, I like the idea of being able to take advantage of time that would otherwise go unused. Tonight will be my first night of using the MILD technique. The last two nights, I have attempted WBTB method with minimal success. I was able to come very close. I believe you could say I was at a very, very low level of lucidity. In that dream, I was telling others in the dream that I did not know if I was awake or dreaming. This should have been an alarmingly obvious sign that I should have picked up on.

Anyway, that is my story. Wish me luck just as I wish all of you luck in your quests for those LD's.

Good luck Chris and welcome to DreamViews. 5 years experience in LD? Sounds like you have some knowledge to contribute.

      Welcome to DreamViews Crypto

Well I'm glad you decided to explore lucid dreaming again. This is the best place for it indeed. I know it can be frustrating with obvious signs like you had the last 2 nights. My dream sign is a tornado, and more often than not if I dream about a tornado, I DON'T become lucid. It's really annoying because I never see tornados in real life. But we gotta just keep plugging away at it.

Anyway, good luck with the MILD tonight!

Thanks Seeker. I actually live in the Central Valley, near the Foothills, so for me it is the snow more than the waves. OB, that is an interesting dream sign.

What up everyone? I am proud to report that in just two short weeks, I have improved my dream recall to remembering four to six dreams per night. I have had three lucid dreams since my last post and I have no idea what triggered them. Now it's time to work on some dream control.

I credit this website and forum to helping me achieve this.
