Thread: Newbie Here from Washington state!

Hey all!

I'm from Washington state, and have been a lucid dreamer with my first LD being around the age of 7 years old that I can remember.

As a child I was picked on, and I used to go to bed wishing that I could just fly over the playground t hat I got beat up on, to avoid the bullies. Well one night I dreamed that, and was fortunate enough to realize I was dreaming, and of course woke up shortly after that.
My ability to LD became more or less dormant during my puberty years , and didn't really kick in again until my early 20's.

I more or less took the fact that I could control portions of my dreams for granted, and never reallly tried to master it (although I have become quite adept at flying in my dreams, and creating my environment to some degree). I recently found this website (did a google), and found there were others willing to talk about their experiences, which I think is fantastic!

I'm here to learn how to take what I know (which isn't a lot) to the next level. I am particularly interested using my dreaming experiences in my waking life (does that make sense?). I'd also like to learn and start practicing techniques that could lead me to astral projection, as well as mutual dreaming.
