Been Practising for a Year now

Ok, I have been practising LD since last October. I actually had my first controllable after 5 months later. I just want to know how someone can get lucid frequently.

Here's the thing I'm doing, correct me if I'm wrong:
I did record my dreams for about a month when I began to practice LD. But then, I stopped because I can remember my dreams almost every night now.

The next thing I do is to find my dreamsign. I mean everybody knows odd stuffs happen when we dream, yet how to actually recognize them. I had a zombie nightmare last night yet I couldn't tell it was a dream.

I've tried the LD induction's MP3 last night, but after playing a while my comp restart. That was like, 'Oh my god..." I tried it again during my nap just now and I can't even recall my dream.

I've been using a LOT of negative statement there which I really shouldn't, I just want to know am I'm doing something wrong? Or it just takes sometimes?

      Dear Einstein,

Many people have Lucid Dreams without hardly trying. Maybe the difference is that they have a reason for Lucid Dreaming... not only a surface consciousness reason, but some reason that the Subconscious Mind would endorse. So what I would suggest is that you start up a Partnership with your subconscious mind. Give it some of what it wants in exchange for some of what you want.

Anyway, now that you can have consistent recall of your dreams, see if you can discern some patterns, motifs or recurrent themes. These would indicate the concerns of your Subconscious Mind. This is what you can bargain with. Once you know what is important to your Subconscious Mind, then you can put together a plan which uses Lucidity to help resolve that subconscious issue. Now, it is only important to your subconscious if it is also important for yourself, so you would actually be helping yourself.

Now, here are some of the ways one can resolve some of the most prevalent dream conflicts -- for lost things, stop looking; for being lost, move on; for being chased, stop and confront. The primitive dream self will tend to make the same mistakes over and over again, and so the dreams recur. One can suggest to the subconscious mind, that, if given Lucidity, that one will re-address the dream problem with a new choice of actions. You need not always have the correct solution in mind. Once your Subconscious Mind knows that you are paying attention, you will begin receiving dreams which provide more of a hint as to what you should be doing... or maybe just paying attention to such things makes one naturally more discerning.

So what I need to do now, is to distinguish my dream's pattern? I mainly have normal life like dreams, like I mean no odd stuff but with rapid changing scene and stuff, but it's odd everything my nightmare is about Zombies or Vampires!

Anyway, what exactly should I do? How do I make myself stop from being chased like what you told?

My first lucid was like a teacher told me, "You are now dreaming!" And he taught me some things that we can do in dream world. Man, that was the most vivid dream I ever had! He taught me how to go thru the walls, jump higher and with all the other student. I really want to explore more about this.

And really think, as how you said, it has something to do with our subconscious mind. I believe that when we are in the REM state, our brain actually drops the conscious mind's level to the lowest. So we can use whatever stored in the subconscious mind to visualise, smell and hear things in our dreams.

Last time I had this lucid dream, I read about an article to prolong lucid dream and it says to set a goal. I had set mine, so during that lucid dream, I tried to find someone I miss for so long, but everything I saw, were non faced. So I guess lucidity does alter the conscious mind of our brain and like wise, alters down the ability of our subconscious mind.

Anyway, I just want to share that, tell me what exactly I need to do please?
