Just Joined Today...

Hi, I just joined today, and judging from some of the things I've read here, I think that my Lucid Dreaming experience will be great! I never really thought about Lucid Dreaming, until i read a topic on Astral Pulse forums about it, and I thought "Oh, this is cool! I should try it out!" So I tried doing some of the things it said to do, like keeping a dream journal and doing reality checks. But eventually, after no results I took the whole thing less and less seriously. But one night, I had a lucid dream (Or at least I think I did) and after vividly remembering what happened, I've taken on a new vigor and I'm really starting to get into it! After reading a bit of these forums, I think that there's a real positive attitude here and I'm sure that with you guy's help, I'll be Lucid Dreaming in no time (Keep a positive outlook, right?)!

I smell what your cooking rock and it's good. I'm quite new here myself. You are right though, there is a ton of positive energy here. everyone has been very helpful so far. I was looking at the other members and when they joined. This family seems to be getting huge...and fast. Welcome and good luck with your endevours.

Glad that you both are picking up on the positive vibe around here. 8) Megarock, lucid dreaming can have that effect on you sometimes. I know a lot of people, myself included, that have had spells where you just kind of Lose the Drive. It is pretty common. The good thing about it is that it is easily overcome if you just gradually get yourself back into focusing on LD'ing. Keep up with the dream journal. If nothing else, its going to help with your dream recall. The more dreams you recall, the more lucid dreams you're going to remember experiencing. The more dreams you experience the more you attention to detail grows, and the easier it will be for you to figure out you're dreaming. We all find that we end up slacking for a little while, but as long as you keep in your frame of mind that the success is all in your head, and work on being aware of your mind state at all times (even when awake for reality checks) you should do fine.
