Hi. I've been trying to LD on and off for about a year now. I've gotten a taste of it, but I've never really done it. technically I have, but only a couple of times, and it wasn't vivd. recently I've been trying FILD. my question is this: is there a way to do FILD while sleeping on your side?

Any position is fine for FILD - as long as you can get to sleep while retaining awareness of your fingers.

I've tried FILD while lying on my side but I can't find a comfortable position for my hand that way.... Is that what you mean DrKraken42?

Well, me too, in fact that's why I gave it up very quickly, apparently it's not my method!

I think I'm gonna try the alternative with counting to fifty-one and saying (not out loud) "I am lucid dreaming" in between numbers. even if it doesn't generate a WILD, it just may generate a DILD.

Funny, I'm (trying) counting as well at the moment. I count backwards from 300, and I'll start loosing track in between 270 and 240. When I've lost track I pick up where I (think I) was... Sometimes now I seem to go into a dream, but not lucid...
