      Newbie :)

Hey all, I just decided to join the community here. I've been interested in LD's for quite a while, I even did a short research paper on them for my psych class last year (I'm a freshman college student right now), but have never really had the time to devote to it that I've wanted. Anyways, I've been trying to keep a DJ this year and I'm hoping it'll help! I've been able to have a few before, but my goal for now is to get up to at least once a month, preferably more! Looking forward to some awesome dreams
      Happy Dreaming

      welcome vivienne

I think you will find that putting effort towards lucid dreaming will be worth it.
      Glad you have joined.

So what grade did you get on your paper?

      LOL Howie.

Welcome to the forum hun! I first started having LDs my freshman year in college when I would take naps in my dorm room in between classes. I hope that we can help you out and get you having LDs regularly. You might want to check out the adoption system if you are interested in some one on one help.

And feel free to PM a Dream Guide at any time if you have questions or need help with anything! Good luck.

haha, i think i got an A on the paper, it was a pretty easy class i'm hoping to have more time to spend on LD's/dreaming, or find time from somewhere to put towards it, and I've been havinig some really good dream recall lately. I think just making a conscious effort of thinking about it really helps, i guess we'll see!
      peace

      Hi vivienne,

      Welcome from a newbie
Since you wrote a paper on this topic, I'm wondering whether you can suggest articles or books that one could read to deepen the knowldege on LD. I'm a beginner on LD and I would like to know it better in order to hopefully experience some LD.

I read just the book by LaBerge: "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming". I read also Castaneda's "The Art of Dreaming" (although it's not strictly scientific, but spiritual).

If it was not already done, one can imagine to create a thread on bibliographical references about LD as a resource for the DW members.
