Hi guys!

I started exploring Lucid Dreaming about five years ago. At some points, I had a habit of performing "reality checks" which resulted in a couple lucid dreams, but mostly brief moments of lucidity.

Currently, my sleep schedule is terrible. However, this semester is coming to an end and I will be focusing on maintaining a healthy lifestyle in my free time!

I was inspired to join this site after experiencing a brief moment of lucidity a couple nights ago. I was in the setting of a vivid dream, but then the dream just... stopped providing a plot? For lack of a better phrase. So I had a moment where I realized that my options were limitless. I don't know if I consciously recognized that I was lucid dreaming, as then I would have analyzed my environment more out of curiosity of the details. But I decided to fly. And I rarely fly in dreams. I've had lucid dreams where I can't even fly, and I jump and fall flat onto the ground. But this time I just breathed, almost meditatively, and rose up above the city, above the water, and into the clouds. It was a powerful moment. It gives me the confidence in myself to be able to assume control of my mind and body, which is part of what I aim to do through lucid dreaming, as well as explore my subconscious mind.

Glad to be here!
