      A Newbie to Newbie

      Hey all!
Been a long time coming, but finally I feel like I've found the 'Site-family' I've been looking for all these years. I tried getting into lucidity about three years ago through books, articles and limited access to the internet. I managed to (almost) get lucid about two months ago, but got so excited when I realised I was dreaming, that I woke up. Crud! We've all been there, no?

So while stumbling through the net a week ago I came across this site by Bradley Thompson offering a lucid dreaming kit (which I ordered immediately!), and then after hooking up a buddy of mine (Brufonite), he got me on to this site.

Should receive my kit within the next few days, so really can't wait to get into my dreams with all of you. Should be really educational, if not amazingly entertaining. 8) .

      Later all...

      Welcome to the forum, Izinyo!
If you want to try to have a LD b4 then, you can. Try writing in a DJ, & RCing a lot more often. After doing that for a while, you should become Lucid at least once!

Welcome to the forum, both of you. 8)

Practically everything you need to know about lucid dreaming can be found here, to some extent, or directed to from here. Good luck finding all of the information you need, don't hesitate to ask questions, and as Nes said, you'll definitely want to focus on keeping a dream journal.

      Hi Izinyo,

And a warm welcome from a newbie too

I didn't know about BradIey Thompson. I just checked on the Internet about him. Well... if I can confess to you all my sensations, I wouldn't recommend one who claim "Lucid Dreams in 7 days"... It sounds like diets: 7 kilos in 7 days...

Dear Izinyo, keep high your enthusiasm about self-discovery, but it's a self-discovery, nothing commercial should be between you and your self. Take everything with great enthusiasm like you do, but also with a grain of salt. I know it's difficult sometimes, but it makes you freer.

Keep dreaming and keep us posted!

      Ciao!
