      I'm Phantom and I'm new

Hello, I'm PhantomBPR, and I'm very interested in Lucid dreaming. I joined this forum hoping to gain tips on how to begin lucid dreaming. I have heard that it's important to keep a dream jornal, but I find it very hard to write first thing in the morning, I also have trouble focusing on what I want to dream before I go to sleep, so I'm looking for help, any would be greatly appreciated, thanks, and it's great to be here.

Hey, Welcome to Dreamviews phantombpr A dream journal si an important tool to remebr your dreams with more frequency, and to find a dream sign. A dreamsign is an indication that you may find in each dream that indicates that you are dreaming. Also, when you are going to sleep, to stay focused, try to clear you mind of everything. After you do that to a degree, change your idea of what you wnat to dream abotu into a picture. Try to visualize it in your mind as you fall asleep. Do not focus to hard, but let it causssly cross your mind. Good luck, If you have anymore quesitons feel free to PM me.

Heya! I hear you--first thing in the morning is not the time I want to be fiddling with little annoying things like pencil and paper.

To make the dream journal less painful, try:

--Writing down key words rather than a full description
--Typing (I have a typing speed of 90 WPM and this goes much faster for me than writing)
--A tape recorder (prepare to laugh at how funny your voice sounds upon first waking up!)

I picked the "typing" option; but of course your mileage will vary.

Another unrelated thing about dream journals: Dreams, especially those with "plots", can be great jumping off places for stories, poems, or even novels. Another reason to write 'em down

Well I know I haven't really been here very long, so I can't expect much, but anybody willing to get to know me, cause I usually have a good friend from the begining on every forum I join, if so, PM me, if not, that's cool, I know I must sound pretty stupid, but I'm just looking for someone to hang out with on this board. Thanks.
