      Greetings

      Hey
      Just making an introduction;
      I found this site about half a year ago, and read through it all, was very intrigued. Started a dream journal back then but became lazy and stopped recording dreams, although it greatly improved my dream recall, before i rarely remembered dreams; now i remember them all the time. But anyway, I was going through some bookmarks I had the other day and was reading some of the posts people had made so I decided to sign up and start making entries in the dream journal again.
      I became very interested in lucid dreams way back when because I became interested in writing a novel that involves lucid dreaming. So, yeah, I'm a young aspiring writer.
      For myself, I have been unable as of yet to become lucid, however I often have good control in my dreams, I just never realize I'm dreaming--which is cool experience in itself, of course. But the moment I realize I'm dreaming I usually wake up. I suspect I have been lucid briefly, but my body just treats it as a signal to wake up or something.
      Anyways,
      I look forward to reading others' posts and posting details of my own progress.

      Welcome! A writer? Great!

      I use dreams as the jumping-off points for short stories--have you ever tried that? Seriously, it works.
