      First Time Trying Worked!!

hello, im new to attempting lucid dream states and have been doing research for a week or so now. Last night i made my first legitimate attempt at lucid dreaming but my sleep schedual the last few nights has been wacky. Last night i slept from 7pm-1230am, then i went back to sleep at 4am. Before I went to sleep i read up on Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming just out of curiosity of the subject. As I was falling asleep everything went black and the next thing i knew i was sitting on the floor of my room (which was a little larger), the room began spinning and vibrating and I remembered what i read of "WILD" earlier and was immediately aware i was dreaming, so I slowly brought the room into focus and it stopped vibrating and i could focus on my surroundings (namely the door), the next thing i knew i could make anyone i wanted walk through the door into my room. After 2 people though, i woke up.

what does this mean about future attempts at lucid dreaming, or better yet, my 'natural ability' to induce lucid dreams?

thanks, hope to be dreaming again sometime.

      Allan

Congratulations! Sounds like you are well on your way to becoming a regular LDer

I think if you keep up with the methods, your future attempts at LDing should be rewarding. Should you stumble across any obstacles along the way however, you know where to get some assistance

and welcome to DV Allan xoxoxoxoxoxo

Welcome to DV, man. I'd say you're off to a good start. You're already working on stability, which is good. That is going to be an important factor in making sure your LD's don't end too prematurely. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
Congrats on your first lucid, and good luck with many more.

Lucidity and control in one dream? Yeah, I'd say you're getting it down.
