Greetings! I started posting here when I was in college; and, well, I'm not in college anymore!
I've been, innately, studying dreams, for as long as I can remember, which is about 7 or 8 years' old, with documentation (dream journals) beginning at around 11 years old. That's when I read my second book on dreams, Lucid Dreaming by Stephen Lebarge (I think that's the name).
The first book was the one by Sigmond Freud, I think?
And so, here we are. Still exploring, still learning.
I can usually LD, easily, once a REALITY CHECK kicks in.
They are
1. I start flying. - This is when my conscious mind wakes, and says, "We're in a dream"
2. The Clock trick -I do the RC (reality check) where you keep checking your clock, phone, watch time, TWICE, when checking. In a dream, a the time NEVER STAYS THE SAME, when looking back at it. So, from this habit, in a dream, I'll check the time, then do the recheck. When the time goes from 8:30 14:47, in seconds, that's when the conscious mind wakes, and says, "We're in a dream"
This also adds another layer, or depths to the symbolish, and other messages, even whilst Lucid (and not).
Some other sources of my studies on dreams are also Seth/Jane Roberts, Carl Gustav Jung, James Redfield (the one that wrote the Celestine Prophecy), Edgar Cayce, and others along those lines of thought.
Looking forwarding to Learning, sharing and caring!
